Outdoor Ducane Gas Grills

Ducane gas grills are quality made by Weber, a name you know in grills.
There are lots of similar items on the market, but a Weber Ducane stainless steel gas grill will give you the best in cooking for a reasonable price. You can purchase a basic gas grill with four burners for about $500. It doesn't have a lot of extras, but it's a well-made and solid unit. It has a good design, excellent support and it will last a long time, among other grills in the same price range. There have been a few cutbacks in the types of materials used, but the more important components are of good quality, and they can even last longer than some of the fancier grills.
The Ducane gas grill has stable and durable construction, and Weber backs it with a 24/7 support line. The thinner materials can make the cheaper units a bit fragile, and the stainless steel used on many of its body parts is a low grade steel. The cheaper grills also have limited features, compared to a top of the line grill.
Most of the more popular Ducane grill styles have stainless steel burners and a good amount of grilling space. The igniters are electric and battery-powered, and the thermometer is mounted on the hood. They normally don't include a propane tank or a cover, and they are made in China.
Most gas grills seem to either be higher in price each season, or lose points in quality of materials or construction. The 2009 Ducane gas grills have an inexpensive line that doesn't have the stainless steel body parts that the older units do, and some of the extras aren't included like they were on earlier grills. This has helped to keep the prices similar, but you do lose something in the quality. The basic grill is still a good unit, though, and you'll probably be happy with it, as long as you're not a heavy, full-time griller.
Even with the cheaper models, you will get 24/7 support from Weber, and the warranty is a good one, so make sure that you don't lose your paperwork. You should invest in the cover for this grill if you have the money – this will pay for itself by keeping the grill in good shape.
The middle of the Ducane gas grill line is available in LP or natural gas models. The five-burner grills in the Ducane 32 model run from roughly $1300-$2000, depending on what features you choose. The natural gas grills are a bit more expensive than the LP grills, but usually only $20 or so more.
The 3200 Affinity grill is a three-burner model, and is cheaper, but it is built a lot like the Meridian model, which is one of the best gas grills, and which has five burners. The 3200 has fewer features, to be sure, but it only costs about $1300. It is a decent size and has plenty of functions for a typical grill-lover. The Ducane Affinity 3100 gas grill and the Ducane affinity 4100 gas grill may have more features.
Weber gas grills stands behind their Ducane grills 24/7 and 364 days a year. The spare Ducane gas grill parts are easy to find, and you can receive them and have them replaced in a short time. The Ducane 32 is still a bit light structurally, but it's a powerful grill with a price that's reasonable. The lightweight materials do make it easier to move from spot to spot, too. It has five burners made of stainless steel, and the total output is a respectable 60,000 BTU's. The cart has another built-in burner, too, which makes the Ducane gas grills even more versatile.
